My Story
I recently spent a week in one of their crisis houses (Oak House, Burnley) after suffering with depression and sucidal episodes for many years having found the services that the NHS currently offer ineffective and, a lot of the time, counterproductive making things much worse.
The week at Oak House, Burnley consisted of intense daily sessions, designed specifically for each individuals needs, giving them the tools to be able to cope back out in the real world at home and in work.
"The work that the team does at Oak House is simply amazing. I was at breaking point and honestly don't think I would still be here if it wasn't for the incredible work that they do. The sessions the charity provided were very insightful, helpful and validating. Thank you!"
